Allan's Corner, Barrhead
Barrhead Main Street has undergone dramatic changes even since I was a boy, this picture of Allans corner shows just how much has changed. The Arthurlie Inn at the centre has stood the test of time. A railway viaduct stood where the flats on the left are and I wonder how many remember the George Cinema that used to be where the flats on the right now stand.
