View of Organ and Pulpit of Bourock Church from central balcony.
The Organ was installed in the Church in 1899 and was rebuilt in 1986. After the 'disruption' of 1843 the Minister and congregation walked out of the Church and it remained closed for 7 years. In 1854 Church members contained a fire until the arrival of the fire Brigade. In 1998 major roof repairs were required but the congregation raised nearly ?100,000 to enable to Church to continue into the 21st century.

I have always admired the outside of this church . As a boy i often wondered what was inside. but never seeing it . On the 13/3 2002 , I attended m y mum's ( Margaret Harris) funeral. I was struck by the beautiful interior. i addressed the assembled family and friends from the pulpit. My thanks to Maureen Liech the minister for that privelidge. Harry Harris
