The Station, Glasgow Garden Festival
A recreation of a railway station at the Garden Festival in 1988.  The locomotive dates from 1876 and saw use in the North of England before moving to the Twechar area of Scotland to work for the National COal Board in 1947.  It ended its career in 1968 at Gartshore pits after which it was donated by the NCB to the Scottish Railway Preservation Society.  It can be seen on DIspkay at the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway.
