WWII defences, Loch Ewe
The remains of some of the defences at the entrance to Loch Ewe. In the early years of the war this sea loch was used as the gathering point for the Russian Convoys. There were naval guns and anti-aircraft sites all around the loch and the opening was protected by a submarine net. [url=https://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=181509&Y=892113&A=Y&Z=120/] Map location.
