Tank Traps, Seton Sands
Re-inforced concrete blocks made in 1940 when the prospect of a Nazi invasion was a real threat to anywhere that could take landing craft on the east coast. The idea was they would have stopped any sort of vehicle, including tanks, but the reality would have been that they would only have acted as a delay. Cockenzie power station can be seen in the distance. Map location.
