The old Oich bridge, Fort Augustus
The wooden trestle bridge you see in the distance here was constructed as a 'temporary' replacement to a stone bridge that what destroyed in a great flood on 1849.  The replacement stone bridge was completed by 1850 and is where this photo is taken from.  After 160 years the temporary bridge is still standing, if only just.
