Hill 99, Culbin Forest
The view from the tower at Hill 99 in Culbin Forest. The trees appear to go on for ever. The forest was planted over a period of more than 100 years from the mid 19th century in an effort to stabilise the ever moving dunes of the coast line. The forest stretches for 7 miles along the coast. Map location.
