Montrose Air Station hertitage centre
In 1913 RAF Montrose became the first operational military Aerodrome in the UK and remained in service under varies roles until 1952.  In 1983 the [url=http://rafmontrose.org.uk//] Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre [/url] was formed and located on the former airfield, not an industrial estate.  Many of the early buildings still stand within the estate.  The Radar seen here is a Decca 424 Airfield control Radar and the one see here was transportable.
