The Lions House, Berwick Upon Tweed
This impressive building was built around 1807 and looks out over the town walls to the sea. Apparently the painter L.S. Lowry looked at buying it in 1947 but found it to be riddled with dampness. It became derelict but was restored by the Berwick Upon Tweed Preservation trust in 1976. Map location.
