This view of HMS Daring shows clearly its angular 'stealthy' design. The theory being that a radar signal will not return on the same path it was sent therefore giving the ship a low radar return. The strange dome with spikes is the Sampson Radar system used by the Sea Viper air defence missile system. Sea Viper is new to the RN and still under going tests, this effectly means Daring is undeployable until the system is proved.
