Crathes Castle, Aberdeenshire
Built on land granted to the Burnetts by Robert the Bruce in 1323.  The castle was built much later between 1553 and 1596.  The Castle remained in the hands of the Burnetts until 1951 when Sire James Burnett presented it to the National Trust for Scotland.
