The old Kinnaird Head Lighthouse, Fraserburgh
This 16th century tower house was modified in 1787 to become Kinnaird Lighthouse. It remained in use until 1991 when it was replaced by a less impressive structure. Today it is part of the Scottish Lighthouse Museum which has another building nearby with lots of displays of the History of Lighthouses in Scotland. The concrete posts were apparently used for hanging fishing nets on.
