The people around Dounreay are still living with the legacy of being at the leading edge of the UK's Nuclear program. Although both fast reactors have long since closed, radio active particles are still washed up onto the lovely sandy beach here at Sandside Bay, only a short distance from Dounreay. Unfortunately the mistakes made by the Nuclear Industry in the past are something that will be here in Caithness for a long time.
