As you drive north from Ullapool you may be surprised how good the roads are, the reason is the large fish handling depot seen here at Kinlochbervie. Kinlochbervie only has a small fishing fleet of its own but boats from the east coast land their catches here and they area taken away by refrigerated articulated lorries. On the extreme right you can see the presbyterian Church dating from 1829 Map location.
