Looking towards the mountains of Canisp and Suilven
The mountains on the skyline are remnants of reddish-brown Torridonian sandstone, capped by younger & harder white quartzite.  Prolonged erosion of the sandstone has exposed a "fossil" landscape in the underlying grey Lewisian Gneiss of the foreground.
