A safe haven for boats since 1803. The fishing trade at Wick peaked around 1900 with 1120 vessels based here. Today the port is mainly used for receiving and exporting varies types of goods including oil related cargo and Wind Turbines. The old lifeboat station is on the right, there is now a modern lifeboat moored within the harbour. Map location
