Loch Maree
A view of Loch Maree from Slattadale. The line of trees along the centre of the photo are standing on some of the 40 or so Islands in the Loch. They are said to be the nearest thing to natural woodland left in the British Isles, they are a fragment of the Caledonian Pine forest that once covered a large area of the Highlands.
