Barrhouse farm excavation, Neilston Pad
During a site survey in the before planting of the East Renfrewshire Community woodland the ruins of a farmhouse were found near Snypes Dam.  Volunteers sponsored by the [url=http://www.archaeology.co.uk/directory/viewdig.asp?dig=33&cat=1]Renfrewshire Local History forum[/url] undertook an excavation over several seasons.  The farmhouse is thought to have been occupied from 1732 up until the 19th century.

Barrhouse farm excavation, Neilston Pad

During a site survey in the before planting of the East Renfrewshire Community woodland the ruins of a farmhouse were found near Snypes Dam.
