The carved stones at Kilmory Knap Chapel
Stones like these can be found throughout the west Highlands and Argyll in the area once dominated by The Lord of The Isles. The earliest of the stones were carved by Sculptors brought over from Ireland. The reason there are so many here is because the stone was quarried locally at Loch Sween.
