The Inchinnan Bridge
The Inchinnan Bridge salutes the crowd.  Built in 1923 by Sir William Arrol & Co Ltd to take the road over the Black cart river but still allow boats to get up to Paisley.  It is the only operational example of a Scherger type Bascule bridge in Scotland.  The Grade A listed structure was refurbished and strengthed in 2004 at a cost of over £1 million.
