Azalea, Crarae Gardens
Crarae is one of two west coast gardens in Argyll & Bute run by the National Trust, the other being Arduaine. Both gardens are at their best around May and early June. Crarae is very different from Arduaine in that it stretches up the Glen of the Crarae Burn and probably has less to see in the summer other than a woodland walk. But if you catch it in spring its worth a visit. Map location.
