HSS Stena Voyager, Loch Ryan
Built in 1996 for the Belfast to Stranraer crossing at high speed, she can carry 1500 passengers and 375 cars at up to 40 knts. She is seen here as she nears the end of Loch Ryan and the power from the 4 GE gas turbines that powers the water jets is increased. Since this photo was taken in 2010 her future is uncertain, the new ferry terminal at Cairnryan doesn't have the required linkspan so the ship is currently out of service.
