New horizons, across the firth of Clyde to Arran

On a misty day looking back to the mainland from the MV Caledonian Isles you could easily think you're crossing an ocean. The crossing from Ardrossan on the Ayrshire coast to Brodick on the Isle of Arran is only about 11 miles and takes just under an hour.
