The two white buildings are Hunterston A Nuclear Power station. They used to be clad in glass but after being decommissioned someone thought a white plastic cladding would be a really good idea. So we are left with two white Nuclear dustbins until the buildings are finally removed in 10 or 20 years time. The buildings on the left are Hunterston B which is nearing the end of its life, there are currently no plans to build any more Nuclear power stations in Scotland.
