You can picture the Lighthouse Keepers family enjoying a summers day at this spot just beside the Lighthouse on the west side of the Wee Cumbrae. On the extreme right you can see the old disused light tower, the present day automatic light is on top of the closer building, its solar panels can be seen below it. Arran is in the mist on the left and the tail end Bute is in the centre. A Vanguard class Ballistic Missile Submarine is on its way home to Faslane.
