Loch Glascarnoch Automatic Weather Station

The MET offce operates several automatic weather stations around the UK. This is one of them and lies next to the A835 to Ullapool. The mast on the mast next to the green box is a video camera that takes 360 degree pictures at regular intervals. These pictures are available to the public at the MET office web site.
