Glenwhan Gardens, near Stranraer

Glenwhan Gardens might be one of southwest Scotland's least known gardens but they are well worth a visit. Covering 12 acres it has two small lochs with formal and informal gardens and woodland walks. Until the 1980's it was bracken and gorse covered fields.
