The Brick Kiln, Dunaskin

Inside the brick kiln at the former Dunaskin Brickworks. It dates from around 1930 and replaced an earlier mid 19th century kiln. The Brickworks were built on the former site of the Dalmellington Ironworks at Dunaskin and used the two chimneys from that works that still stand today. Map location.
