The Oswald Clock, Victoria Park, Glasgow

Donated by Mr Gordon Oswald in 1887 for the opening of the park, it was fully restored in 2015. It has 4 clock faces and was made by Messrs Alexander and Son. There are inscriptions on each side at the base. The one that can be read says "This is the day of Salvation", the Oswald family were deeply religious Episcopalians.
