Culross Town House

Built in 1626 with the tower being added in 1783. It was built as council chambers to replace earlier ones, the building was also used as a court house and prison with cells on the ground floor. The standard measures and weights of the burgh were usually kept in the town-house, as they still are today in Culross. Map location.
