The A890 avalanche shelter
An unusual feature on a road in the UK, I can't think on any other road that has one. Its only about 100m long and covers the single track road and the railway line. This road has been troubled with land slips for many years due to the rock cuttings along the left side at this point. [url=http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=191438&Y=837880&A=Y&Z=120/] Map location.
