The former Templetons Carpet Factory, Glasgow Green

Completed in 1892 with a design inspired by the Doge's Palace in Venice the impressive facade was home to a carpet. James Templeton from Paisley patented a chenille Axminster process by which he could manufacture more densely paterned and richly coloured carpets.
