The former Beresford Hotel, Glasgow
The impressive front of the old Bereford Hotel, opened in 1938, in time for the Empire exhibition being held in Glasgow on the same year. Its art deco style still looks impressive even today. After the war it was converted into offices and then in 1964 was aquired by Strathclyde University for student accomodation. In 2003 it was sold and converted into private flats.
