Dryburgh Abbey ruins
Dryburgh Abbey was founded in 1150 by the Premonstratensian Canons from Alnwick Abbey in Northerumberland.  It was burned by the English in 1322 and also 1385 but flourished in the 15th century only to be finally destroyed in 1544.
