Cramond Island, Rover Forth

Cramond is a small tidal island on south side of the River Forth at the village of Cramond. Little evidence of early occupation exists today but it is thought to have used as a fortification in the past. Fortifications constructed during both the first and second World Wars still remain. Map location.
