Eglinton Toll, Glasgow

The distinctive triangular shape of the St Andrews Cross building at Eglinton Toll on the south side of Glasgow, probably dating from around 1888. Note the frosted glass windows of the Star Bar on the ground floor, this used to be a tradition so that good people wouldn't be corrupted by seeing all those people drinking inside. Map location.
