Built in 1857, the date is carved in stone at the top of the building. Today the secret of what lies within is well hidden. It is the oldest intact music hall left in the UK. When in use it had a central entrance where the amusement shop is now. The building is catagory A listed and the music hall is in the hands of a trust. . Map location.
