90 years of broken pottery, Barrhead

This is just one of the heaps of broken pottery at the old Shanks pottery in Barrhead. The pottery was opened in 1900 after moving from other sites around Barrhead, they remained here until finally closing in 1992 after a merger with Armitage in 1969. If you look close you're almost certain to see a colour that matches your bathroom suite. Map location.
