Paisley Abbey, North side

There has been an Abbey on this site in Paisley since 1219, it was destroyed by the English in 1307 and rebuilt in the 15th Century. In 1533 it partially collapsed and remained in that state until the 18th and 19th century when it was gradually restored to how it looks today.
