Built at Inglis ship yard in Glasgow in 1946 Waverley is the world's last sea going passenger carrying Paddle Steamer. She routinely sailed on the Clyde under the yellow funnels of the Caledonian Steam Packet Company until 1973 when she was bought for the sum of one pound by the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society. Today she sails all around the UK including the West coast of Scotland and the Clyde.
