The Volunteer War Memorial

The three members of the 3rd Renfrew Volunteer Battalion who fell in South Africa during the 'south African Campaign', more commonly known today as the Boer war. It took 250,000 British troops to put down an uprising of just 60,000 Dutch farmers.
