Mulberry Harbour Memorial, Village Hall, Garlieston
When you visit the sleepy village of Garlieston today you would be hard pushed to imagine the vital role it played during World War II.  From 1941 up until 1944 the harbour and bays around Garlieston were used to contruct and test parts of the Mulberry Harbour that was used so effectivly in the days after D-Day.
