Ballater, Royal Deeside

The busy streets Ballater. The town dates from the 19th when it was a popular destination for those visiting the nearby Pannanich Wells Spa. Ballater station was where the Royal family would arrive when visiting nearby Balmoral Castle. The Railway line was closed many years ago and the station is now a visitor centre. Map location
