Bridge at Crathie, Royal Deeside

The Bridge across the River Dee at Crathie. Built in 1857, it was designed by one of Brtain's greatest engineers, Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The Bridge was commissioned by Prince Albert after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert bought Balmoral Castle which sits beyond the bridge on the left hand side out of sight in the trees. Map location
