The Waterside Inn, Barrhead
Formerly know as 'Jean Gebbie's' this public house lies just outside Barrhead on the Glasgow road.  Jean Gebbie ran the pub until her death in 1905 although it kept the name of Jean Gebbie until quite recently.  Todays name is derived from the location of where it stands, this building is all that remains of the village of Waterside.
