Burtons, Paisley Cross

This catagory B Art Deco style building was built in 1930 on a vacant corner site in Paisley Cross. Previous to this building the entrance to the Glen Cinema was on the corner leading to the Cinema behind. On the 31st December 1929 71 Children died in a fire in the cinema. The cinema building was converted into the shops you see to the right of Burtons. Map location.

I do most of my clothes shopping here because i can never be arsed with Braehead (and it's the only decent shop in the town for guys).
