Anti Aircraft battery, Aultbea

During WWII Loch Ewe was selected as the gathering location for North Atlantic Convoys destined for Russia. The opening of the loch was protected by submarine nets and this photo shows one of the 3 AA batteries that were located around the loch. The Isle of Ewe is in the back ground along with the Coast Guard ETV Anglian Prince. Map location.
