Portrack Railway Viaduct

When the bridge across the Nith was replaced, Charles Jencks, the owner of Portrack House edjacent to the line took advantage of the old path of the railway and bridge to make this interesting play on perspective. The Gardens of Portack house are open to the public only one day a year. Map location.
