The Chapel Royal, Stirling Castle

Built by James VI for the baptism of his son Prince Henry. It was one of the first protestant kirks in Scotland, dating from 1594, it was also the last Royal building at the Castle. The frieze around the top of the wall was painted by Valentine Jenkin in 1628.
