Avro Vulcan XM597, Museum of Flight, East Fortune, 2017

The Missile on the left is the Blue Steel Nuclear stand off missile, designed to be released up to 240km away from the target, giving the bomber a chance to escape before being detected, or at least so they hoped. The warhead would have been 1.1 Megatons and they were deployed between 1963 and 1970.
